Dylan Ettinger Minneapolis Shows (Soothing Almonds Collective Showcase/ Yeti Records In Store)

The always great Yeti Records, Palmers Bar, Moon Glyph and Soothing Almond Collective label are teaming up for two cool events this weekend. The first is a show Friday night featuring Not Not Fun/Moon Glyph synth explorer Dylan Ettinger joined by Soothing Almond Collective bands Larry Wish and his Guys, Mr. Hide and Cage III. The show is only $5 and will be taking place at Palmers on the West Bank. Saturday afternoon finds Ettinger setting up shop at Yeti Records for a show with a few more like minded Minneapolis bands. Joining him for the in-store are Claps, Beat Detectives and Collin Gorman Weiland (aka Camden). Find music below from Ettinger’s recent Not Not Fun released “Lion of Judah” 7″ (the label also released his great New Age Outlaws last year and his more new wave-y Lifetime of Romance this year) and hear tracks the local acts that are also on these bills. There is a lot going on this weekend music wise, but both of these shows are going to be great and are well worth your time.
