Kitten Forever create the kind of frantic, hair-on-fire punk rock that is created for sweaty house shows. The trio, composed of Liz Elton, Corrie Harrigan, and Laura Larson, collapse pop melodies underneath fuzzy, broken-speaker bass and chaotic drumming, all held together by glue and safety pins vocals that bring to mind the kinetic energy and art-punk attitude of Karen O. Released on two 7″ records, Pressure is just haphazard enough to keep you on your toes while still feeling well thought out and defined.
