No Bird Sing (feat. Sage Francis) “Don’t Think”
A new track comes tied with some pretty exciting news for local trio No Bird Sing. “Don’t Think” is the first taste of Definition Sickness, their forthcoming LP on Sage Francis’s indie-rap label Strange Famous Records (B. Dolan, Buck 65, Sage, etc). The song continues the bands history of dark, minimalist soundscapes dragged through a dark alley by the gruff, world-weary rhymes of Joe Horton. The album, out Nov. 12, features a smattering of local names you’ll recognize, but the debut single finds the group joined by their new label head on a simmering track. It is cool hearing Sage Francis on a NBS joint and great for this hardworking local group to get some national muscle to push out their next record.
