Local garage-pysch stalwarts Magic Castles will be back with a new LP in September, again on Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman Anton Newcombe’s A Records. Their heady, fuzzed-out jangle is as strong and enticing as ever on “Hollow Moon,” which you can hear below. The band are heading to Europe soon for a tour, but are squeezing in one last show here in Minneapolis. You can catch them tonight at Palmers in the West Bank, along with Bliss UK playing what is being billed as their last show. Look for more on the new Magic Castles LP closer to the release date.
