Introducing: Magnetic Ghost (Show Tonight!)
Magnetic Ghost’s Andy Larson has been around town for a long time now creating interesting guitar music with his previous bands like The Vets and Whitesands/Badlands. It’s been a couple of years since the end of Whitesands/Badlands but in the meantime he’s been creating new music solo. Magnetic Ghost takes Larson’s previous work and strips out most other instruments in favor of layers of guitars. Vocals and and some percussion come and go but with pieces like “Total Eclipse Of The Sun” from his upcoming record create interesting textures with layers of guitars. A recent live set on Soundcloud is a single 23 minute piece that shows how a one man act can translate to a live setting.
