Beat Detectives return with another collection of deliciously warped electronic jams
There aren’t many groups making funhouse electronic dance jams like (formerly local) trio Beat Detectives, but even if there were, I’m fairly certain Beat Detectives would be the best. Always woozy, they slice and dice beats that strut over sound-collage samples and the casually effusive lead vocals. Grab your best vintage disney gear, flip on the blacklight and enter the blissfully weird world of Beat Detectives via their track “Heard It In The Club” below. It comes off a forthcoming tape from the group, which you should obviously grab when it is released.
