Introducing: The brilliant garage pop of Fiji-13 with “Mansplain it to Me BB” (Live on Radio K)
A few weeks back, Fiji-13 released a new CS titled Sleezy on Homestead Records. You can listen to the breezy garage pop of “Taco Shack” from the tape below as a sample of what the group are bringing to the table. While “Taco Shack” is a solid track, the real highlight of this post is the outstanding track “Mansplain it to Me BB” that the group performed recently on Radio K. As the title suggests, it does quick work of the bros in the world who feel inclined to explain all of life’s great mystery to anyone who doesn’t happen to be a man. It is a brilliant track that is enjoyable on a multitude of levels. Check out both tracks and check out the group the next time they hit the stage around the Twin Cities.
