Sweet Spirit channel 70s glam on their latest single (Show Sunday!)
While starting innocently enough as A Giant Dog singer Sabrina Ellis’ solo project has blossomed into Austin’s greatest 9 piece party band. “The Mighty” is the lead single off their 2nd full length St. Mojo (which releases today) and digs deep into the band’s influences as a Queen inspired piano ballad into a full blown 70s glam explosion. The song has been a staple of the band’s set for a while so you can search around Youtube to find live versions of the full band’s rendition full of guitars and horns. The band has spent some time touring with Spoon and you can expect a over the top fantastic live show so don’t sleep on the opportunity to see them while they’re playing small places like the Entry.
