Awesome Bands Meet in Paris, Take Group Photo
The New York Times’ “Nifty Fifty” blog has just ran an interview with garage gals Vivian Girls. While to me the VG have always been a band that is better on paper than it has ever matched up to in reality, there is an undeniably cool story of how they, Deerhunter, The Crystal Antlers, and the Pains of Being Pure at Heart crossed paths while on tour in Paris, and all went to the Eiffel to have this picture taken.
