Joanna Newsom: Good Intentions Paving Company

We have already posted about the first song, the whimsical “81,” from Joanna Newsom’s upcoming Have One on Me LP. Now we have song two, which is the more rambling, free wheeling “Good Intentions Paving Company.” She seems to be drawing a lot of attention leading up to the release of the disc, so I imagine that Have One on Me is going to really propel her into a even bigger audience than she has previously had. Hopefully the first two songs are not the best the disc has to offer, as they are good, but not really on par with her really amazing last two discs.
