Hot Chip are back with their most mature album yet, the aptly titled One Life Stand. Not nearly as quirky or dance oriented as their last few records, One Life Stand is more blue eyed soul than their previous work. Check out the albums title track “One Life Stand,” both from the studio recording and live on the Jimmy Fallon show. On a side note, as someone who thinks Jimmy Fallon is about as funny as cancer, I will commend him for giving us the opportunity to see the amazing Roots play with some of the best bands out there right now. Really, really great stuff.
