I am loving this new Marissa Nadler track, “I Love My Man,” from the upcoming fifty six song Amnesty International benefit album from Buffet Libre. It has a real melancholy old-country feel – sounding more like a cover of an old Townes Van Zandt song than something written in the twenty first century. The vocals though are unmistakably Nadler’s though – her ethereal pipes make every note sound like it’s being whispered through the fog of a dream.
