Gayngs (Local Supergroup) announce debut album
Jagjaguwar announced today the long buzzed about local music project Gayngs, the local supergroup featuring such Minneapolis music luminaries as project organizer Ryan Olson, Bon Iver, Megafaun, the Rosebuds, Lookbook, P.O.S., Dessa, and Channy Moon-Caselle of Roma di Luna. The songs, self described in the press release as having “production almost exclusively inspired by 10cc’s “I’m Not In Love,” were all recorded at 69 Beats Per Minute, if either of those references mean anything to you. No songs out yet, so we will have to wait patiently to see if this impressive group will live up to the hype. The debut album, Relayted, will drop on 5/11 and we will keep you up to date when any more information or songs become available.
