Japandroids “Art Czars”

Japandroids burst onto the scene last year with their explosive and wildly fun debut Post Nothing and their, ahem, wild shows. They are back this year with a series of singles, with the A side of each being new songs and the B side being a cover. The first original A side is the pummeling “Art Czars,” which finds the band starting off at the powerful noise meets pop crossroads that they did so well with their debut record. If all of the songs are half as good as this one, the band are in for a very good 2010. See their always entertaining live show April 10th at the 7th Street Entry.
