Now before you get too excited, no this isn’t the return of the famed Mos Def/Talib Kweli collaboration of the nineties. Blackstar in this case is alludes to the Ghanaian soccer team “The Blackstars.” It is one of the tracks off of upcoming LP Ye Fre Mi Richy Pitch, a compilation of all-star Ghanaian musical talent assembled by producer Richy Pitch. What makes this track so special is that it just so happens to feature our own local emcee M.anifest. That, and it is a genuine banger. Cheers to Midwest Broadcast for spying it first.
