Amphetamine Reptile Records Announces 25th Anniversary Show

25 years ago Minneapolis noise-rock label Amphetamine Reptile Records released their first 7″, founder Tom Hazelmyer’s band Halo Of Flies “Rubber Room”. Since then, they have released around 100 records by such artists as the Melvins, Cows, Calvin Krime, Helmet, Hammerhead and Today is The Day. The label is not as active these days, mostly releasing limited 7″s by the Melvins and Grant Hart most recently. To celebrate this, there will be a huge live birthday party show on August 28th, 2010 featuring Melvins, Boss Hog, God Bullies, Today Is The Day, and many more to be announced (Hammerhead reunion?). Stay tuned.
