Caetano Veloso to Team Up with Lil’ Wayne, Diddy?
I was recently hipped to a rumor that Brazilian Tropacalia legend Caetano Veloso (highly recommended listening if you haven’t heard the “Bob Dylan of Brazil”) just might be working on a bizarre hip hop/tropicalia project with Lil’ Wayne and Sean “Diddy” Combs to be released this summer. In a recent interview, Veloso acknowledged the rumor but was coy about actually addressing it. Not sure whether to be excited or terrified about this prospect, but for the time being I will remain cautiously optmimistic.
