Arcade Fire “Month of May” and “The Suburbs”

What was that noise you heard yesterday?  It was only the music blogosphere blowing its collective load as the new Arcade Fire 7″ (A Side “The Suburbs” backed by the B Side “Month of May”) hitting the internet.  I have to say neither song blows me away (the sub-par quality doesn’t help), but I prefer the more upbeat “Month of May” over the more homespun “The Suburbs.”  A lot of the best Arcade Fire material is good at first listen and grows over time, so hopefully that will be the case with these.  Now lets just hope the Internet regroups enough before the first Panda Bear Tomboy single drops, or else we may have a sensory overload.
