New Ugly Casanova Songs

Isaac Brock, he of Modest Mouse fame, also has made some pretty great music with his side project Ugly Casanova.  Their debut (and only) album was the excellent Sharpen Your Teeth, and that album came out what seems like a lifetime ago.  That is all changing with a new album that is serving as the soundtrack to a new movie called 180° South.  Above is Brock performing the track “Here’s to Now” at the movie premiere, and below is a MP3 of the track “Lay Me Down.”  Both are much more stripped down and organic than a lot of Brock’s work, but this isn’t too surprising as his last Ugly Casanova album was also a more barren and streamlined affair.  The record drops on June 22nd.
