Gil Scott-Heron “New York is Killing Me” remixes (Feat Nas and Mos Def)
Spoken word legend Gil Scott-Heron burst back onto the music scene in the last year with his well received album I’m New Here, which found the troubled but supremely talented artist returning in fine form. If you missed the album, you can hear one of the standout tracks, “New York is Killing Me,” with some added rhymes from two of raps true heavyweights. I personally prefers the version with Nas spitting apocalyptic rhymes over the hand-clapping beat, but the Mos Def version isn’t too shabby either.
