King Khan and the Shrines to Play the Triple Rock
King Khan and the Shrines wear many hats – multicultural garage rockers, psychedelic soul men, and voodoo shaman priests to name only a few. Whatever they are though, the German/Canadian pranksters put on one of the best live shows in the country, and they are coming back to the Triple Rock Social Club on Oct. 4th. Yeah it is the same night as Broken Social Scene at First Ave, but I can guarantee that this will be more exciting.

Awesome. BSS/Sea and Cake can have the aging hipsters….King Khan is where the party will be.
You gonna make sure Jon behaves and doesn’t get kicked out this time Josh? 😉
In a lifetime for going to shows I have been kicked out of exactly one – and I will apparently never live it down
or you could start getting kicked out of tons of shows so than it isn’t the only one…it’s worth a thought.
I don’t know…I wouldn’t want to get thrown out by that large dude at the T-Rock. He would maul like bear.
just one Jon? that’s disappointing… granted i’ve only ever been kicked out by bouncers/security and not the lead singer 😉
Nah, unless you count getting thrown out of First Ave for not having a photopass 🙁
I guess it must mean something when the lead singer of one of the most notoriously riotous bands around points you out and says “that guy has to go.”
Just not sure what exactly it means 😉
