Levek: Look On The Bright Side
Father/Daughter has been sending us over some consistently great stuff lately – the most recent being Florida experimental artist Levek’s split 7,” which will be available at their website on 11/16. Levek defies easy categorization, and each his songs seem to present a completely new paradigm. “Look On The Bright Side” mixes up elements of 70’s R&B, dream pop, and world music. He actually occasionally sounds like a weirldy psychedelic Bobby McFerrin. I checked out his other stuff too and most of it is completely different. Apparently the dude is a school bus driver by day and makes music when he’s not shuttling the kiddies around. Definitely excited to hear more.
