While the rest of the album was a bit of a letdown, the track “What’s In It For” still gets me as one of my favorite pure “pop” songs of the year. Seeing the group performing on the site Yours Truly only goes to reinforce just how young these kids are, which means that they hopefully have many years of getting their shit together in front of them and many opportunities to recreate the magic they captured on this track.
