Free Albums from X-Mas/NYE

The Holidays are for giving, right?  In that spirit, bands whose albums you would have probably downloaded for free anyways cut out the middleman and offered up musical gifts for under your tree.  Brit pop cartoons Gorillaz made an album, The Fall, solely on a iPad while on the road and offered it upon Christmas Day.  Swedish popsters jj decided their sound needed to be meshed with hip hop samples, so they did just that on their Kills mixtape, which they released on the Sincerly Yours website.  For New Years, two great electronic artists spun records for well known outlets, with Dan Snaith of Caribou picking records for the BBC and DJ/Rupture “accidentally” recorded his set spinning records from midnight to 3am on New Years Eve (h/t Chocolate Bobka).   I am sure there were others, so if we missed something cool that came out during this time, drop a note in the comments.
