I jokingly called Panda Bear a “indie god” in a post earlier today, but it probably is closer to the truth than I meant it to be. The blogosphere was given another morsel this weekend in the form of “Atiba Song,” which may or may not even be on his upcoming release Tomboy. No matter what the final tracklist ends up being, I am not sure any album will be able to live up to the crushing hype that the record has surrounding it, but with tracks like the pretty, hypnotic “Atiba Song,” it may actually stand a chance.
