Tim Krause, the one man band behind Maymok as well as half of Coral Legs, is unfortunately going to be leaving the Twin Cities in a short while to explore opportunities out East. While that is bad news for us, we wish the best for Krause and hope for the best for him (he’s already hooked up with the Wham City Collective, home of Dan Deacon amongst others, which is a pretty damn good start). You will get your last chance to see Krause perform as Maymok (at least for awhile) this Sunday (1/23) at the 1419 house in Minneapolis. He will be performing tracks off of his brand new record Praxell, which was recently released via Twomichaeljordans. Here’s the video for single “Spacestation.”
