Greatest Hits “Danse Pop”
The word “shimmering” gets bandied around a lot, but the song “Danse Pop” by Greatest Hits fits the term pretty much to a t. The title track to a new 7″ by the band on the always great Olde English Spelling Bee is two minutes of party starting pop driven forward with bright vocal melodies and a just rough enough around the edges instrumentation that it doesn’t feel overblown. I haven’t heard much else from the group, but “Danse Pop” is a pretty intriguing start.
