Father You See Queen: “Edmund”
Father You See Queen is a new collaborative effort between To Kill A Petty Bourgeoisie’s Mark Mcgee and vocal/haiku experimenter Mona. The duo has a few tracks available on their soundcloud site, the most recent of which is “Edmund.” “Edmund” features Mona’s sultry vocals over McGee’s subtle drumming, guitar distortion, and electronic noise. It has a cold, remote sound that also manages simultaneously to sound sensually melancholy due to Mona’s lovely, intimate alto. Hopefully a full length debut is in the works for these two since it should be amazing.
