Poison Control Center “Dracula’s Casket”

Poison Control Center, the Ames band who have carried the freznied post-punk, Pavement with ADD mantle for the last few years, are back with their latest LP, Stranger Ballet. The first song released is the short burst of noise called “Dracula’s Casket,” which finds the group doing what it does best, which is mixing fuzzed out guitars with angular pop melodies. Check out the track below and catch the band on June 4th at the Triple Rock Social Club. Stranger Ballet drops next Tuesday, June 7th.

I think it’s called Dracula’s Casket…not Dracula’s Closet. Although maybe that could be a prequel song for them to work on. If PCC does that, I want royalties.

    Fixed, thanks….

Althogh Dracula’s Closet, the story of Dracula coming to terms with coming out of the closet, would be pretty awesome.
