Ssalvia “Best Lose the Dream”
I have a flash drive where I keep songs that I am considering posting on the site and of which I listen to when I am doing various tasks. Most of the songs whisk by in a haze, barelyregistering a strong “yay” or “nea” reaction and falling into the dustbin of my electronic music collection. Other songs, like “Best Lose the Dream,” from ambient-electro group Ssalvia, manages to fight its way through the ether every time it seeps through the speakers or trickles into my brain from my headphones. The song is 3 and a half short minutes of fourth dimension sound pop, with syrupy synths and outer space melodies mixing together, working towards a zonked out guitar riff that closes out the song. For whatever reason this song, which easily could fade into the crowd, always seems to grab my attention and leave me wanting more.
