Dominant Legs “Laughing the Whole Time” and Melted Toys “Rose Again”
Two bands that have been making waves over the last few months have come together to create a double A-Side single the is being released by two French labels I have never heard of ( Atelier Ciseaux and La Station Radar). Like their debut EP Washed and Dried, the Melted Toys track is underwhelming to me. I generally like bands circling the Underwater Peoples scene and creating the music that they do, but I just can’t get into them. That sentiment can’t be said for Dominant Legs, who continue to impress me. I have heard stuff here and there from the group, but their contribution to this release is more funky (and synth-y and dance-y) than other stuff I have heard, but is a stone cold jam and a dance floor ready cut.
