Water Boarders “Feasting on Mongesse”

I have been on a Tri-Angle Records kick lately, really diving into the wobbly dubstep and chilly R&B that the label has been putting out over the least year (i.e OoOOo, How to Dress Well, Clams Casino, Balam Acab and Holy Other). A track from a lesser known band, at least to me, that jumped out from the labels soundcloud page was the eerie “Feasting on Mongeese” from the group Water Boarders. Like the other bands on the label, I know next nothing about the artist, but the track sounds like Burial crossed with the Knife in a dark alley, with thumping bass crossing unsuspecting paths with the demented, warped vocals. No word on any future releases from the band, but seems like another solid group on this consistently solid label.
