Do Look Back: Breathmint Records Video Archive
Breathmint Records founder Mat Rademan has been documenting shows on film since the late 90s, but has now started posting them on the label’s Vimeo page. The page so far is turning out to be a treasure trove of the early 2000s noise/weirdo scene, including some classic Cock ESP violence, Foot (Don Fleming, J Mascis, Thurston Moore, Jim O’Rourke and Tom Verlaine performing sitting in a station wagon), Neon Hunk performing at the 7th Street Entry, Emil Beaulieau’s shirt changing noise and a whole lot more. Worth an extended look if this is your thing.
