The Men: “Bataille”
It’s good to hear that the flame of Ohio’s storied rock/punk scene is still burning in Cleveland’s The Men, a relatively new hard and fast punk/drone quartet. The Men recently released their excellent second LP Leave Home on Sacred Bones and will be coming to the Twin Cities on August 13th (to play at a venue called House of the Lard which I have never heard of but hope to find). Check out their fuzzy, doom-laden tune “Bataille” here and if you dig it, join me on the hunt for this mystery venue next Saturday.
