Peter Wolf Crier “Settling it Off” and “Right Away”
Peter Wolf Crier have done well for themselves over the last year, and it seems the momentum will continue to be with the local duo as they set out to release their sophomore album, Garden of Arms, again on the influential Bloomington, IN label Jagjaguwar. An announcement about the album currently rests on the labels sidebar by the new Bon Iver record and reissues of classic Dinosaur Jr. LP’s, so they are clearly getting promoted with the big dogs. Listen to two songs from the album below, both of which follow up their less frantic, more folky Dodo’s vibe that they developed on their debut LP. You can check them out for free tonight at the Lake Harriet Bandshell (and stay for David Bowie at his 80’s best in Labyrinth!) or pony up some cash to see them on 9/23 at the Cedar Cultural Center. Garden of Arms drops on September 6th.
