Skoal Kodiak “Teapot”

It’s been a while since Skoal Kodiak‘s 2007 debut LP Three People Are Keep Having Grape Emergencys but the trio is set to release a new record on September 20th on Providence, RI’s noise powerhouse label Load Records. “Teapot” is everything we’ve come to expect from the band, a solid rhythm section groove covered in a swarm of robot chirps and distorted vocals. Glad to see some locals get picked up by a label that’s released some of my favorite records of the last decade.

ridiculously excited for this. Three People Are Keep Having Grape Emergencys is still in constant rotation, so I’m fairly certain the new LP will find its way into my top local albums of the year. Can’t wait.
