Real Estate "Green Aisles"

Whenever I am excited about an album as I am with the forthcoming Days LP from Real Estate, I am always worried there will be a let down when I finally hear the record.  High expectations can often be unrealistic and artists can go directions that might let you down, or simply come across as one trick ponies who never match the energy of their debut record.  Luckily, after hearing the the first song, “It’s Real,” from the LP and now hearing their latest hazy, reverb drenched pop ditty “Green Aisles,” I am feeling pretty good that Days it going to be a great step forward following their debut, self titled LP.  If the first two songs are any indication, the record, which drops Oct. 18th, will be nothing short of what I have been hoping they would release in the two years since their last full length.

FYI, the record is without a doubt “record of the year” potential in every single way. And this comes from someone who never used to like Real Estate.
