Feathers “Darklands” & “Early Morning”
Feathers are a four piece out of the fine city of Brisbane, Australia. Their sound revolves around a rather simple lens of psychedelic pop music, with jangling, reverb laced guitar lines fighting for spaace with thick bass lines and a marching rhythm, held together by the pristine but chilly vocals. You can listen to two songs from their new LP Hunter Moon below, with “Darklands” being the more (wait for it..) dark of the two, with a heavy, almost new wave feel and “Early Morning” featuring a more brittle pop sound.
