White Denim “No Real Reason”
White Denim have consistently provided two things since I have known of their existence over the last few years, and both are within the grasps of folks in Minneapolis over the next 24 hours. The first thing is that the band have always created interesting, multi-dimensional versions of Americana music on record. The latest example is the heavy, layered jam “No Real Reason,” which isn’t as frantic as a lot of their previous work but it just as captivating and seems to grow new layers with each listen. The song is from the bands latest EP Takes Place in Your Work Space, which you can stream HERE. The second fact is that they put on a stone cold great live show, one in which leaves the crowd sweaty, tired and converted to their melting pot of sound. Luckily for music fans in the Twin Cities the group will be bringing their services to the Cabooze for a show this Saturday night, which is not to be missed. Good news all around.
