Stacian “Blood Sugar”
Stacian, the electro synth nom de plume of Milwaukee based Dania Luck, is a kindred spirit to our cities growing electronic underbelly. Part wonked out Food Pyramid or Lighted synth exploration and part Claps chilly, minimalistic synth romps, Stacian is both calculated and engaging jounrey into the seedy side of ambient synth pop. Click below to hear “Blood Sugar,” a song from her newish EP Pul, which is out now on Moniker Records. The track is dark but boyant, with dark undercurrents but a pulsing beat and lush synth sweeps running through the track. We have talked about her hypnotic and engrossing synth wizardry before, and if our words aren’t enough, check out her bandcamp and soundcloud pages for more 4th dimension electronic soundscapes. Check out Stacian tonight at the Kitty Cat Klub with Gel Set from Chicago in a free show that should not be missed.
