Future Shuttle “Opal Star”
I didn’t write about the debut LP Water’s Edge by ambient noise group Future Shuttle until my year end wrap up, but I’m not letting that happen again with their forthcoming tape on Samling Records. The lead single from the tape is the eight-minute mind warp “Opal Star,” which you can hear below—a track that builds off the group’s debut in fine fashion, melding a meditative synth line with wonked-out electronics, highlighting what makes this group so good at what they do.
