Stream: Total Fucking Blood “Real Demons”
Total Fucking Blood are celebrating their first release in almost six years with the brutal-as-always Real Demons (and partying with a great local bill tonight at the Turf Club). If you are unfamiliar with the crunching riffs and devil-may-care audio tomfoolery the band have developed over the last half-decade, stream their new LP over at the Candy Dinner website for a taste. Vicious, throat-shredding vocals are driven forward by the pulsating bass lines of Pete Biasi and the sludgy riffs of Adam Burt. The whole operation is held together by the powerful (and possessed) drumming by local heavyweights Ben Ivascu and Freddy Votel. The group is back from a short tour on which they shared the stage with buzz bands Poliça and Marijuana Deathsquads. But tonight is all about them. They’ll be joined by the Deathsquad crew (who share drummers with TFB) and Thunderbolt Pagoda for what should be an exciting, entertaining, and LOUD night.
