A. Wolf And Her Claws: “Zero To 60”
It’s been a little while since we last heard from Aby Wolf (now A. Wolf). Wolf’s solo album, Sweet Prudence, came out what seems like a lifetime ago. Now her sound is so drastically different from the singer/songwriter acoustic stuff on which she cut her teeth. Now “A. Wolf and her Claws,” as Aby Wolf and her band are now known, produce experimental electronic pop. While it seemed that Wolf was mostly experimenting extensively with the loop pedals to produce dense, multi-layered vocal tracks, her newest single “Zero to Sixty” is more of a straightforward pop song.
