Football “Set Them On Fire”
A few short weeks after some new tracks from Chicago’s Circles, we have a new one from former France Has The Bomb singer/guitarist R Srini’s other band, Football. Featuring members of A/V Murder, The Ponys and Tight Phantomz (among others), Football takes thing a little more aggressively than the previously mentioned Circles. From the opening distorted bass riff to the chorus chant of “set them up and set them on fire”, “Set Them On Fire” charges ahead from beginning into a pretty raw slice of garage punk. There’s no word on a full length or anything yet, but hopefully, we’ll get something soon.
