Outer Limitz “I Kontact”
Hippos In Tanks has done a pretty great job bringing some interesting music to the masses over the last couple of years. Usually, you can’t discern whether their bands are irreverent or deadly serious. The latest group to drop into our unsuspecting laps is the grimy electronic act Outer Limitz with their track “I Kontact.” The song, which is previewed above and in its full form below, is a R&B tinged, bass rumbling, bubbly synth jam. The track sounds like a more grounded, reality-based version of label mate James Ferraro’s everything-and-the-kitchen-sink approach. We’re not sure if the single is a preview of a record or a stand-alone track, but let’s hope for more from another solid band on the HIT label.
