John Maus: "No Title (Molly)"
Our neighbor down in Austin (Minnesota) John Maus has been pretty quiet as of late. Despite living only a short drive away, Maus has only played a single show in the Twin Cities in the span of the past year. If you have started to miss him, content yourself with the fact that this summer Maus will be releasing a collection of songs entitled A Collection of Rarities and Previously Unreleased Material. As the title makes clear, the collection will consist of old songs – mainly tunes that have been released on Maus’s website or via special promotions over the last eleven years (with a couple songs which have never been released in any format). “No Title (Molly” is one of the tunes that will be featured – it was originally released as part of a Domino/Ribbon Music Record Store Day promotion.
