Olsen Twinns “Window and Wall”
Every once and awhile a excellent surprise finds its way into my inbox. The song “Window and Wall” from Des Moines electronic outfit Olsen Twinns was one of those. Crackling along beside a steady bass line and some scattered high hat clicks, the distant vocal chirps are both soothing and disconcerting, creating a wobbly effect that soaked through my headphones. The track is pure ambient bliss, a song that stumbles along the bank of the river but never falls in, forging ahead through the haze of the beat. The groups new LP Found Things is out now via the label Forged Artifacts. Find out more info and immerse yourself in the bubbling goodness of “Window and Wall” at the groups bandcamp page.
