Pazy and the Black Hippies Release
Local label Secret Stash are already riding a wave of buzz with the announcement of the awesome Twin Cities Funk and Soul comp they have coming out in the fall (which is awesome), but they also another release that looks to be a gem itself. On September 4th the label will release the album Wa Ho Ha by Nigerian group Pazy and the Black Hippies. Judging from the songs in the promo video below, it will be a richly funky journey through the afrobeat sounds that came crashing out of Nigeria in that decade .
