The Twerps “He’s In Stock”
The Twerps are part of the clatch of bands circling the Underwater People label that wrap their indie pop in blankets of reverb (think Real Estate, Ducktails, etc). Their particular strand is influenced by their fellow Aussies/New Zealand acts The Clean/The Chills and they have proven over the last few years to be adept at wringing every last ounce of flavor out of their jangly garage pop formula. Their latest release, “He’s In Stock,” is a 7″ out soon on Underwater People and continues the great work the group has been doing.
