Your Head Is A Phantom Limb Festival Tonight and Tomorrow
While there’s a ton of cool shows already this weekend (Minnesota Musicians Vote No for one), those looking for something adventurous should check out Your Head Is A Phantom Limb Festival at Patrick’s Cabaret on Friday and Saturday night. Billed as a “2 day festival of noise, sonics, performance, theater, electronics, bending, beating, beats, and video,” each night features a full bill with a little different theme. Night one is billed as “theater” and will be a mixture of theater, video and sound performances featuring several midwest performers, including Milwaukee’s Peter J Woods and Duluth’s Tim Kaiser. Night two features at least 14 artists performing a variety of electric and electronic sounds, most notably Milwaukee’s legends Boy Dirt Car and Madison’s Burial Hex in what is billed as the final performance under the name and should be an unmissable performance. Tickets are $10 for one day and $15 for the two day pass. More info on the festival and performers can be found here.
